John Arthur Nichols III

NATCHEZ — Graveside services for John Arthur Nichols III, 78, of Natchez, who died Friday, April 10, 2015, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.

Burial was under direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Nichols was born on Dec. 31, 1936, in Memphis, the son of John Arthur Nichols Jr. and Anne Mae Myrick.

He was an Industrial Electrician and worked with man contractors all over the United States.

Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Nichols, of Los Angeles; devoted, companion and caregiver, Peggy S. Hill, of Natchez; children of the heart, Glenn Hall, Robin Wilson and Steve Hall; six grandchildren, Lancie Lachal, Casey Wilson, Riley Wilson, Haylee Hall, Krissy Hall and Allie Hall; and two great-grandchildren, Kaylea Hall and Timber Morriett.

Pallbearers were Glenn Alan Hall, Marvin Wilson and Charles Sanders.

Honorary pallbearer was be Don Sanders.
