Tara and David Ray Scruggs of Vidalia and Pauline and Jessie Wayne Bolyer of Ferriday announce the engagement of daughter, Paige Bolyer to Sam Thomas, son of Dale Thomas Sr. and Terry Thomas of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School. She is the granddaughter of Junior and Sue Smith of Vidalia and Mitzi Bolyer and the late Wayne Bolyer of Ferriday.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and is employed by Frito-Lay in Vidalia.

He is the grandson of Grace Smith and the late William “Buddy” Dukes and Bessie Thomas and the late Billy Thomas, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015, on the Natchez bluff at the gazebo.

A reception will follow at the Community Center, Louisiana 15.
