Elgin Ray Cooper Jr. 

JENA — Funeral services for Elgin Ray Cooper Jr., 59, who died Friday, April 3, 2015, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Pritchard Baptist Church in Jena with the Rev. Terry Doughty and Rev. Mike Russell officiating.

Burial will follow at Jena Cemetery under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home in Alexandria.

Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Elgin Ray Cooper and Billie Ruth Burlew Cooper.

Survivors include his daughter, Erica Cooper McLendon and husband, Jonathon; grandson, Jase McLendon; brother, David N. Cooper and wife, Tammy; sister, Shelia Mason and husband, Kenny; and a number of relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Woodie Fairbanks, Roger Wilson, Jeffery Estes, Wayne Cooper, Chad Evans and Marcus Evans.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lamar Tolar, Joe Davis, Pete Prudhomme, John Mark Stutson, John Goeggle Jr. Hudspeth, Buddy Coleman, Jase McLendon, Jeff Goeggle and Randy Ward.
