NATCHEZ — Funeral services for the Rev. John D. Perry, 77, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Regency Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Antioch Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. J.L. Hammittee officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.

Perry was born on May 6, 1937, in Natchez, the son of Lucion C. Perry III and Margaret Beatrice Hawkins Perry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Lucion C. Perry IV, Oscar Perry and Thomas Perry.

Survivors include his two sons, John Vincent Perry of Greenville and Juan Danny Perry of Pearl; two grandchildren, Allen D’Juan and Xavier Bailey; two brothers, James Perry Sr. and Samuel Perry; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
