NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Jesse Seiferth Jr., 73, and Irma Jean Seiferth, 67, will be at noon Thursday at the George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel at West Gate Funeral Home.

A burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

A celebration of life and reception will be at 2:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Hall, Orange Avenue, following the service.

Mr. Seiferth was born July 24, 1941, in Kingston.

Mrs. Seiferth was born Nov. 8, 1941.

Jesse and Irma died in Lynchburg, Va., where they lived and worked since 1974.

Jesse was a recipient of a master of business administration degree and Irma had achieved undergraduate studies.

They were Catholic.

Their end-of-life request was that their cremains be buried in their beloved hometown of Natchez.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Seiferth Hicks of Richmond, Va., and Gina Seiferth St. John of Los Angeles; two grandchildren, Meaghan Bryce Henson and Taylor Austin Henson; one great-grandchild, Alivia Bryce Henson, all of Richmond; his sister, Forrestine Seiferth Barnes and husband, Bernis, of Silver Springs, Md.; brother-in-law, Larnell Franklin of Natchez; and a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church in the name of Jesse and Irma Seiferth.
