Monday, March 23

Jonathan Lee Ivory pleaded guilty to sale of a Schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), in an amount being more than 2 grams, but less than 10 grams, in Judge Forrest “Al” Johnson’s court. Sentenced to 12 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Full credit received for time served. Must pay all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee.

Leonard Shondell Harris pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), in an amount greater than 0.1 grams, but less than 2 grams (Count I) in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to eight years in MDOC, which shall not be reduced or suspended nor shall such person be eligible for parole or probation. Full credit received for time already served at the Adams County Jail. Must pay all court costs and fees to include a $200 prosecution fee.

Wednesday, March 18

Joseph Isiah Taylor pleaded guilty to simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), in an amount of at least 0.1 grams, but less than two grams, in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to three years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections to run consecutively to the sentence the defendant is currently serving in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Must pay all court costs and fees, to include a $200.00 prosecution fee.

Friday, March 20

Stacia Ann Mulvihill, 30, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $643.

Ashley D. Smith, 29, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $853.

Beebe Hughes, 50, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $853.

Mildred G. Hopkins, 65, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from store. Fine set at $573.

Calandra J. Smith, 22, pleaded guilty to violating the city’s noise ordinance. Sentenced to three days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $313.

Shaunda Wilson pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from store. Fine set at $573.
