NATCHEZ — Services for Loretha Griffin Council Guice, 51, of Fayette, who died Friday, March 20, 2015, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church “The Vision Center.”

Burial will follow at the Richland Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mrs. Guice was born Feb. 5, 1964, the daughter of Ernest Smith and Amanda Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lorra Harris; and two uncles, Ben R. Johnson and Mantrail Jones.

Survivors include five children, Terence Griffin and wife, Danielle, of Baton Rouge, Terry Council and wife, Victoria, of Vicksburg, Angie Nichols and husband, Kendrick, of Byram, Tericka Council of Natchez and Terecia Council and companion, Larry, of Fayette; six sisters, Lillian Sonia of Baldwin, Ga., Jennifer Martin and husband, Kirk, Jomanda Odoms, all of Atlanta, Bobbie Hollins and husband, Thomas, of Seeding Hill, Mass., Viola Martin and husband, Ray, of Hartford, Conn., and Debbie Hutchins and husband, Frank, of Vicksburg; six brothers, Vivian Griffin of Vicksburg, Johnny Odoms of Hopkinsville, Ky., Otis Odoms and wife, Sue, of Atlanta, Marzell Odoms of Round Lake, Ill., Otis Smith of Fayette and Johnell Smith and wife, Rosline, of Cannonsburg; three uncles, Charlie Johnson Jr. and wife, Denise, of Washington, D.C., John Johnson and Henry Johnson and wife, Betty, all of Gulfport; nine grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
