NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Evelyn Louise Brashier, 81, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with Kenny Middleton officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brashier was born June 17, 1933, in Bude, the daughter of Sebastian Bash Brown and Carrie Bell Harvey Brown.

She was retired from Sears as an accountant and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mrs. Brashier was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sarah Lee Forbes and Lorraine Havard; and three brothers, Willie Brown, Lavern Brown and L.W. “Buck” Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Barney R. Brashier; two brothers, Allen Brown of Lake St. John and Jerry Brown of Yazoo City; and one sister, Sharon Ledbetter of Iuka.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
