MONTEREY — Services for James E. McCall, 54, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 14, 2015, at his residence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eva Church of God in Monterey with the Rev. Joey Pepmiller officiating.

Burial will follow at the Lone Pine Cemetery in Monterey under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. McCall was born Aug. 24, 1960, in Natchez, the son of Nolan Creighton McCall and Josie Mayford Terrell McCall.

He was a loving husband and father.

Mr. McCall was a graduate of Mississippi State University in petroleum engineering. He retired with 20 years of service from Chevron. He was self-employed.

Mr. McCall was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Loree Harris McCall; one daughter, Charlie Kae McCall; one son, James Creighton McCall, both of Monterey; four brothers, Roger L. McCall and wife, Linda, Gary L. McCall and wife, Marie, all of Natchez, Mac N. McCall and wife, Beth, of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Randy F. McCall of Hickory, N.C.; one sister-in-law, Marion McCall of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

He will also be missed by special pet, Duke, his beloved dog friend.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Goodman, Taylor Foster, Glen Kelly, Drew McCall, Bubba White, Kevin McCall, Rocky Morace and Chris Powell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Netterville, Lee McCall, Corey McCall and Jason McCall.
