Natchez — The Heroines of Jericho are looking for girls in their junior or senior years of high school to particpate in the debutante ball.

The program is open to students in Adams, Jefferson, Claiborne and Copiah counties.

The ball is the culmination of a mentoring program meant to provide positive role modles and positive learning experiences for girls.

Goals of the program are to boost self esteem and confidence while providing cultural and character-building opportunities.
