WCCA elects officers

Woodville — Wilkinson County Christian School recenlty elected new student council officers for the 2009-2010 school year.
Officers are Taylor Vines, president; Samantha Pace, vice-president; Taylor Littleton, secretary; Christ LaPrairie, treasurer; Cal Wilkerson, and Taylor Morris, reporters and Carol Johnson and Craig Lyons, student council representatives.
The class representatives are Erin O’Leary and Brittny Roberts, senior class officers; Shannon Sessions and Jade Pribbernow, junior class officers; Melody Pace and Andrea MaHony, sophomore class officers and Bentress Wines and Amber Barber, freshman class officers.
WCCA’s fall fundraiser is ongoing. Students are selling trash bags, candy and magazines.
The Lady Rams softball team won the district championship and began playing in south state tournament games Saturday in Liberty.
Michelle Muncy spoke at the high school devotion on Sept. 14 and encouraged students to attend the Silver Ring Thing event at Southwest Community College.
Laney Skinner, elementary art teacher, has assembled a display of children’s batiks that are in the elementary hallway.
WCCA will have nine weeks test beginning on Monday and continuing through Friday.
