Submitted photo — Joe and Regina Bates Johnson of Roxie celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at the House of Refuge Church in Roxie. The couple has seven children, Delores Jenkins of Florida, Joe Johnson and Travis Johnson, both of Georgia, Carl Johnson of McCall Creek, Brenda Dillon and Cynthia Dogan, both of Roxie and Rose Breakfield of Wesson. They have 24 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. The couple was married Feb. 28, 1965, in Natchez.
