Timmy Walker of Natchez and Julia Sandidge of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Marissa Walker to Preston King, son of Robert King of Natchez and Lisa King of Columbia, Mo.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Mitchell Sandidge and the late Janice Sandidge of Little Rock, Ark., Juanita Walker of Natchez and Jerry and Jeanie Walker of Brookhaven.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez. He is employed by AT&T in Pineville, La.

He is the grandson of Ovelar and Mary Ann King, Charles and Nancy Brady and Charles and Dorothy Lee Cockerham, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Magnolia Cottage in Natchez.

A reception will follow.
