Monmouth names first managing director

Natchez — Jerry Jacobson was recently named the first managing director of Monmouth Plantation, a local privately owned historic property.

In his role as managing director, Jacobson will be responsible for the hotel’s overall strategic business direction, operations and sales.

With more than 30 years of hospitality experience, Jacobson also has a strong background in hotel operations and management, including the private Jumby Bay Island off the island of Antigua in the West Indies; the elegant Emerson Inn & Spa near Woodstock, NY; and Omni Hotels in Boston, Minneapolis and New York City.
