NATCHEZ — Services for Jeannette Fleming Conrad, 59, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rehoboth Church of God in Christ in Sibley with the Rev. Johnny Ray Jackson officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 4:45 p.m. today with a celebration of life wake service at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Conrad was born May 29, 1955, in Hamburg, the daughter of Joseph Fleming and Geneva Gray Fleming.
She was a 1974 graduate of North Natchez High School and a graduate of Natchez Junior College.
Jeannette was a retired nurse who was employed by Dr. Robert Barnes. She was a member of the Rehoboth Church of God in Christ. She was a member of the Dinah Ealey Homemakers and was a volunteer parent for Alcorn State University Upper Bound Academy.
Jeannette enjoyed reading, working with her flowers and serving others.
Ms. Conrad was preceded in death by parents and other relatives, George Conway, Bernice Ward, Benny Rogers, Clara Rogers and Georgia Brown.
Survivors include one son, Brock Alton Conrad; one daughter, Wonder R. Conrad; four sisters, Lillie Williams and Johnnie M. Johnson, all of Natchez, JoAnne Davis of Newellton, La., and Emma Valentine of Hesperia, Calif.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a special niece, Versa Lewis; and other relatives and friends.
