NATCHEZ — Julia Smith Freeman has joined The Natchez Democrat’s advertising department as the representative for the southern Natchez territory.

Freeman attended the Universty of Southern Mississippi, and was previously an employee at Concordia Bank & Trust and Waste Management, and served as a deputy court clerk for Adams County Justice Court Judges Charlie Vess and Patricia Dunmore.

She has a son, Will Freeman, and is the daughter of Danny and Mary Katherine Smith.
