Budget cuts force library hour changes

NATCHEZ — Due to budgetary constraints, the Judge George W. Armstrong Library is reducing its hours effective Friday.

New hours are as follows:

4Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

4Thursday — 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

4Friday — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

4Saturday — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Books returned late will result in an increase in overdue fines. The new rate for overdue books will be 15 cents per book, per day, after a one-day grace period.

Overdue fines only apply to books that are returned after they are due. Books returned on time or before do not incur an overdue charge.

Charges for black only printing from the public computers or making copies using the library’s copy machines will increase to 25 cents per page printed or copied.
