OLDENBURG — A remembrance celebration service for Mary E. Westbrook, 60, of Roxie, who died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Greendale United Methodist Church in Oldenburg with the Rev. Randy Youngblood and the Rev. Tony Mullins officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Brookhaven.

Mrs. Westbrook was born Jan. 8, 1954, in Natchez, the daughter of Willie Harrigill and Ruth Campbell Harrigill.

She was a member of the Glendale United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime housewife, devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.

Mrs. Westbrook loved gardening, art, raising farm animals, singing and cooking. She served for a number of years as the pianist of Greendale United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Westbrook loved her family and will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her father and baby brother, William James Harrigill Jr.

Survivors include her husband, William James Westbrook; two sons, William Todd Westbrook and wife, Brittany, of Roxie and James Nicholas Westbrook of Lake Park, Ga.; six grandchildren, Tyler Huff, Isaac Westbrook, Jaxon Westbrook, Layla Westbrook and Jamison Westbrook; two sisters, Becky Netherland and husband, Robert Butler and Pat Langston and husband, Nat; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be forwarded to Meadville Convalescent Home in Meadville, c/o Mrs. Gail Norman.
