FERRIDAY — Two men were arrested for possession of crack cocaine in Ferriday on Monday.

Damion Milligan and Willie Jefferson, both of Ferriday, were charged with possession of schedule I and schedule II controlled substances and probation and parole charges.

Jefferson was also charged with obstruction of justice.

The Ferriday Police Department received information that suspected crack cocaine was present in a mobile home in Ferriday.

Ferriday police officers Sam King, John Cowan, Alfonso Warfield, Denis Mulvihill and John Mitchell all investigated the report.

A substantial amount of crack cocaine was found during the investigation, but actual measurements were unable to be attained because to the crack cocaine was wet.
