NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Hazel James Huber, 92, of Natchez, who died Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, at Adams County Nursing Home, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Ensminger officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home and noon Monday until time of service at the funeral home.
Huber was born on Jan. 23, 1922, in Bude, the daugter of William Lenoard James Sr. and Macy Pevey James.
She was a loving wife and mother who always put her family’s needs before her own. She was a strong believer on our Lord Jesus Christ and served Him faithfully all of her adult life. Her greatest happiness came from her relationship with God and with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Huber Sr.; her parents; and five brothers, Edgar James, William Leonard James Jr., L.J. James, Kenneth Larue James and C.H. “Bobby” James.
Survivors include one brother, Billy Joe James and his wife, Jeannette, of Gilbert; three daughters, Sandra Huber, Sheila Huber Smith and her husband, Jack, and Vicky Huber, all of Natchez; two sons, Jimmy Huber and wife, Cathey, of Gladwater, Texas, and Russell Huber Jr. and Susie of La Place, La.; 11 grandchildren, Christian Murray and wife, Gina and Adrienne Murray of Jackson, Cameron Smith Gamberi and husband, Chad, of Natchez, Darian Smith of Jackson, Terry Arnold and wife, Michelle, of Prairieville, La., Chandler Arnold and wife, Keri, of Vidalia and Jackson, Danielle Huber Colby and husband, Brett, of Gladewater Texas, Jimmy “Duce” Huber Jr. and wife, Natalie, of San Antonio, Russell “Rusty” Huber III, Amy Huber Louviere and husband, Sean, and Julee Huber of New Orleans; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Christian Murray, Darian Smith, Terry Arnold, Chandler Arnold, Chandler Arnold, Duce Huber and Rusty Huber.
