Did you know the fair is coming — the Co-Lin Natchez Campus 2009 College Fair?
Copiah-Lincoln Community College Natchez is happy to sponsor our 19th annual College Fair Wednesday. More than two dozen college representatives, financial aid advisors, military recruiters and other agencies are scheduled to be on hand at the exciting event.
The activities will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Redd/Watkins Career and Technical Education Center. The community is invited to attend and meet with the representatives. There is no charge to attend. Several local high schools are planning to bring groups of students to explore their options for the future.
“This is an excellent opportunity for area students to meet and talk with recruiters and counselors from a wide range of colleges in the same place at the same time,” said Co-Lin Natchez Vice President Teresa Busby. “Of course, we’ll have our own Co-Lin representatives there, too.”
We have invited representatives from most of the major public and private colleges and universities in both Mississippi and Louisiana, as well as representatives from all branches of the Armed Forces.
Here is a list of the Mississippi schools who have been invited and traditionally send representatives: Alcorn State University, Alcorn State University School of Nursing, Alcorn State University School of Business — Natchez Campus, Belhaven College, Delta State University, Jackson State University, Mississippi College, Mississippi State University, Mississippi University for Women, Mississippi Valley State University, Tougaloo College, University of Mississippi, University of Mississippi Medical Center, University of Southern Mississippi and William Carey College.
Louisiana schools also have been invited to participate. The following is a list of those invited: Grambling State University, Louisiana State University, Louisiana State University Alexandria, Louisiana Tech University, Nashville Auto-Diesel College, Northwestern State University, Southeastern Louisiana University, Southern University and University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Co-Lin is pleased to offer this community service. We hope to see you at the fair.
