FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Dr. William B. Roman Jr., died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2014.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory in Fayetteville, Ark.
Dr. Roman was a pharmacist, physician, educator, sailor and philanthropist, living a full life for almost 90 years.
He loved much, gave more and touched a number of lives.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannette H. Roman; one son, Stuart Patrick Roman and wife, Nancy Jean, of Bryan, Texas; two daughters, Marcella R. Winters and husband, Jim, of Pace, Fla., and Courtney Serio of Fayetteville; five grandsons, William B.C. Roman of Bryan, Joseph C. Winters and wife, Jessica, of Clermont, Fla., William J. Winters of Pensacola, Fla., Timothy W. Winters of Pace and Zachary Meyer of Fayetteville; three granddaughters, Jamie R. Speed and husband, Jonathan, of College Station, Texas, Casaday Saunders of Natchez and Jacqueline Biehler and husband, William, of Fayetteville; and three great-granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of choice.
