Monday, Nov. 17

Jeffrey Allan White pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule I controlled substance (marijuana), in an amount being more than 30 grams, but less than 250 grams, with intent to distribute (Count II) in Judge ForresT “Al” Johnson’s court. Sentenced to one year in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Must pay all court costs and fees, to include a $200 prosecution fee.

Alan Michael Hughes pleaded guilty to sale of a Schedule I controlled substance (marijuana), in an amount being less than 30 grams, in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to one year in MDOC to run consecutive to the revocation in cause No. 12-KR-0174-J. Must pay all court costs and fees, to include a $200 prosecution fee.

Daryl Michelle McGee pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), in an amount being more than two (2) grams, but less than ten (10) grams, in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to two years in MDOC to run consecutive to the revocation in cause No. 12-KR-0071-J. Must pay all court costs and fees, to include a $200 prosecution fee. McGee had his post-release supervision revoked in Johnson’s court for being in violation of the terms of his supervision as he pleaded guilty to a felony charge in cause No. 14-KR-0086-J while on supervision. It is further ordered that the defendant receive Alcohol and Drug Treatment and counseling with MDOC.

Antone Johnson pleaded guilty to simple robbery (Count I) in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to five years in MDOC suspended. The defendant is not placed on probation or any supervision under MDOC. The terms and conditions of the suspension are as follows: (1) the defendant’s good behavior; (2) that the defendant violate no laws, state or federal; and (3) payment in full of any and all court-ordered restitution, fines, court costs and fees, including reporting to the Court and appearing before the Court as directed, concerning the status of such payment. Must pay a fine of $1,000 as well as restitution to the victims in the amounts of $218.75 and $22.50; respectively, all court costs, including an fees incurred and a prosecution fee of $200 no later than Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015.

Jerry Dewayne Penton pleaded guilty to fondling of a child for lustful purposes (Count I) in Judge Johnson’s court. Counts II-VIII for sexual battery are dismissed. Counts IX and X (exploitation of a child) are also dismissed. Sentenced to 15 years in MDOC. Defendant shall not receive any credit for time served as the defendant was incarcerated on numerous charges at the time. Must pay all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee.

Kalcay Michael Watson pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to three years in MDOC, with the Court retaining jurisdiction for one year for placement of the defendant into the R.I.D. program with MDOC. Must pay all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee.

Namon Earl Purdion pleaded guilty to four counts of misdemeanor petit larceny in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to six months on each count, consecutive, in the Adams County Jail, credit for time served and the balance suspended on the following conditions: (1) the defendant pay within 60 days from this date (Nov. 17) a fine of $1,000 plus all court costs ($248.75) and prosecution fee ($200) to the Circuit Clerk of Adams County; (2) that the defendant pay by certified check or money order payable to each victim and delivered to the District Attorney’s Office within 90 days from this date the following restitution: $630 — Alpine Well Service; $800 — Thomas Kimbrell; $280 — Adams Cardneaux; and $515 — Roy Vines for a total of $2,225 ; (3) that the defendant be place on misdemeanor non-reporting probation for three years upon the condition of the defendant’s good behavior and that he violates no laws.

Friday, Nov. 14

Kasey R. McLain, 32, pleaded guilty to amended charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Tameka Patrice Calhoun, 34, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Total fine set at $441.50.

Tyhecia Bender, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Danielle Bolton, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Darnell Bates, 54, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from store. Fine set at $573.

Zenobia Janelle Green, 26, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Tiffany Traisee Weatherspoon, 32, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Orinthia M. Bailey, 37, pleaded guilty to simple assault–domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 20 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 10 days in jail. Fine set at $723.

Monday, Nov. 17

Linda Smith, 53, charged with malicious mischief. Case remanded to files.

Kiana Evans, 19, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.

Kiana Evans, 19, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Case dismissed.

Wednesday, Nov. 19

Chae L. Coles, 21, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days with six days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for four days served. Fine set at $323. Coles also pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days with 26 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for four days served. Fine set at $473 minus $75 suspended. Must pay a fine of $398.

Kenzell D. Isaac, 19, pleaded guilty to amended charge of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for two days served. Fine set at $523.

Calandra J. Smith, 21, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.

Travis Jamal Webb, 18, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.
