NATCHEZ — Services for Bobby J. Boyd, 76, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, at his residence, were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, at Washington Baptist Church.

Burial followed at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mr. Boyd was born Jan. 9, 1938, in Natchez, the son of Toxie and Hilda Mae Boyd.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Katie Boyd; two daughters, Tessie McElroy and Debbie Fisher; one son, Bobby J. Boyd Jr.; one stepdaughter, Sandra Powell and husband, Mike; one stepson, Shelby Ensminger and wife, Lorri; eight grandchildren, Ashley Alford and husband, Justin, Chasity McElroy, Christopher McElroy, Trey Ensminger and wife, Stacy, Chris Ensminger and wife, Kim, Josh Powell and wife, Summer, Kody Greene and husband, Johnny, and Kylie Powell; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronnie Boyd and wife, Marie, of Natchez; one sister, Grace Bullock of Monticello; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
