NATCHEZ — Services for Carol P. Myers, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. today at Assumption Catholic Church with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.
Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Myers was born in Manila, Philippines, the daughter of Eugene Perez and A. Fausta Perez.
She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church. She owned and operated Carol’s Beauty Salon for 55 years.
Mrs. Myers loved cooking, fishing and spending time with family and friends. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Myers Sr.; her parents; five brothers; one daughter-in-law, Jeanette Myers; and one grandson, Kyle Myers.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Myers and wife, Lynn , of North Carolina, Jack Myers of Lake St. John and Ronnie Myers and wife, Tammy, of Farmerville, La.; one daughter, Beverly Massey and husband, David, of Natchez; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a very special friend, Lamar Spencer.
Pallbearers will be Brian Massey, J.H. James, Daniel Myers, Jason Myers, Bobby Myers and Braxton Robinson.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to a charity of choice.
