NATCHEZ — One Natchez driver was dodging more than potholes Wednesday morning.

Panrence Blanton, 26, reported to Natchez Police Department officers having shots fired at his vehicle while driving along East Woodlawn Street in Natchez.

Blanton made the report at approximately 3:57 a.m.

The report said Blanton was driving on East Woodlawn when someone started shooting at his 2001 red GMC Yukon. Blanton told the responding officer that one shot hit his right rear tire causing it to go flat and another shot hit the right rear door of the vehicle.

No description of the suspected shooter was available.
