FERRIDAY — Services for Adell Edwards Burns, 89, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at her residence, will be at noon Wednesday at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ms. Burns was born April 4, 1925, in Monterey, the daughter of Tom and Elnora Walker Edwards.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Burns and her parents.

Survivors include one brother, Leo Stevenson Jr. of Washington; one sister, Rosie Dison of Vidalia; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
