JACKSON (AP) — That chill in the air is about to get a lot chillier as another cool front blows across the Miss-Lou, bringing the coldest weekend of the season so far.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch from late Saturday night through Sunday morning for Adams County and Concordia Parish.

Saturday night and Sunday morning will be the coldest, with temperatures hovering just above freezing for the northern parts of the coastal counties.

Another cold front is predicted toward the end of next week, which could bring thunderstorms.
