Edward and Kay Bourdin, Donald Hicks and Glenn Hall, all of Natchez, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacie Merritt to Christian Rachal, son of Chuck and Scarlett Eidt of Natchez and late John Paul Rachal.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and is employed by Internal Medicine Associates in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cornie Hudson and Peggy Hill and the late Lyvonne Hudson, all of Natchez.

He is a graduate of Natchez High School and is employed by MWD Services in Lafayette, La.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Shupe and the late Glenda Faye Benefield and the late Sandra Jones Fulmer, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at Parkway Baptist Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the church.
