Ever wished you could see Dave Mathews, James Taylor, Willie Nelson and U2 in one concert?
You can!
Thursday night Nashville entertainer KIER, who has taken his unique blend of music and comedy all over the world, will be on stage at the Grand Soleil ballroom along with his impersonations of Sting, Springsteen, Pearl Jam, John Lennon, Elton John, Phil Collins and Bob Dylan. Admission is free.
With Natchez Community Hospital’s major sponsorship, the Natchez Children’s Home Services is again hosting the Celebrity Golf Tournament Thursday and Friday to benefit its foster family program and counseling services.
The public is invited to join celebrities on Thursday evening at 5 p.m. for a delicious celebrity golf buffet ($25) at the Grand Soleil’s Vue Restaurant.
Invited are Major League Umpire Joe West, former NFL players Mike Siani, Efren Herrera and punter Ray Guy, former Alabama player and coach Ray Perkins, HGTV’s Kelly Edge, former Houston Oilers running back and MSU great Hoyle Granger, Vidalia’s own Barry Bowden of the Kansas City Royals organization, golf instructor Jesse Trevino, golf pro John McGough and trick shot artist Buddy Shelton.
At 7 p.m. a silent and live auction and pairings party will fill up the Grand Soleil with items such as a guided 3-day bow hunt at Giles Island, four bottles of French wine, a handmade humidor filled with premium cigars, tickets to a major league baseball game, sports memorabilia, jewelry, a George Rodrique Blue Dog print, LSU football tickets and huge gift basket, a home make-over by Kelly Edge, golf at the Baltimore Cool Kids June, 2011 benefit, a week at a condo at Ocean Isle Beach, N.C., a Redneck Adventures hunting package, weekend stay at Lake Bruin’s Oxbow Lodge and much, much more.
KIER and his multiple “personalities” will take the stage at 8 p.m.
On Friday, at Beau Pré Country Club, golfers will enjoy a trick shot demonstration by Buddy Shelton and Jesse Trevino, followed by lunch and a shotgun noon start to the celeb/am, followed by awards and prize board drawings.
