RIDGECREST — A home invasion in Ridgecrest Sunday night landed three Ferriday men in custody.
The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the situation — while more arrests will be made, said CPSO investigator Phillip Webber.
The CPSO arrested the following suspects in the case;
Byron Jefferson, 19, 105 Ferriday Drive, was charged with home invasion, armed robbery with a firearm, two counts of aggravated battery, resisting an officer by flight, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bryson N. Conner, 19, 607 8th St., Ferriday, was charged with home invasion, armed robbery with a firearm and two counts of aggravated battery.
Jordan Hinkston, 22, 89 Chester St., Alexandria, was charged with home invasion, armed robbery with a firearm and two counts of aggravated battery.
“A home invasion is a very personal matter,” said CPSO Chief Deputy David Hedrick. “It’s very intrusive for someone who goes through that.”
Webber said the home invasion was not a random target, but predetermined.
“It was preplanned for the victims to arrive home,” Hedrick said. “Once they arrived, the suspects exited their cars and put guns on the victims, forcing them into the house, were they were robbed.”
The suspects carried a firearm, shotgun and two pistols.
Hedrick and Webber could not disclose further information of the incident because it could endanger the case.
