Eric and Becky Gray of Ferriday announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Leigh Smith to James Benjamin “Ben” Cochran, son of Bill and Ruthie Cochran Jr. of Natchez.

She is a graduate of Vidalia High School and Paul Mitchell Beauty School. She is employed by Riverfront Royale Salon and Spa in Vidalia.

Jessica is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Williams of Vidalia.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He is employed by Baker-Hughes Inc.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cochran Sr.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., today at Frogmore Plantation in Ferriday.
