MEADVILLE — Services for Nobie Marie Crooks, 85, of McCall Creek, who died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Meadville with the Rev. Bobby Davis officiating.100914NobieWallaceobitpic

Burial will follow at Wallace Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wallace was born May 7, 1929, in Gilbert, La., the daughter of Mitchel and Edith Little Crooks.

She was Baptist.

Mrs. Wallace was a homemaker who loved music, classical television shows and caring for her many pets over the years.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. To know her was to love her.

Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles A. Wallace; one daughter, Judy Wallace Covington; two sisters, Ramona Crooks and Barbara Humphreys; and one brother, Bud Crooks.

Survivors include her son-in-law, David Covington of McCall Creek; one sister, Allie Campbell; one brother, Johnny Crooks; two grandchildren, Charles David Covington and wife, Terry Ann, and James Odell Covington; great-grandchildren, Carlie Elizabeth Cameron and husband, Kyle; great-great-grandson, Joseph Davis Cameron; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
