NATCHEZ — Services for Grace Anna King Blanton, 73, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at her residence, will be at 11:30 a.m. today at Stanton Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Purvis officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Blanton was born Jan. 29, 1941, in Lamar, S.C., the daughter of George Dewey King and Alma EdieAnn King.

She was a member of Stanton Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.

Mrs. Blanton will missed by her family and friends very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Alma King, Cleo Pipkin and Nell McFerrin and two brothers, Herbert King and Billy King.

Survivors include her husband, Elwood Allen Blanton Sr.; two sons, Elwood Allen Blanton Jr. and wife, Miranda, of Pearl and Thomas Dewey Blanton and wife, Tracy; three grandchildren, Morgan, Austin and Trace Blanton; one sister, Mary Blackmon; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Carol Williams, Frank Rhinehart, David Mize, Robert Hensley, Terrell Foster and Kent Blanton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mitch Ballard, Sonny Lee, Purvis Wilson, Kurt Matthews, Kavin Rhinehart and Bubba May.
