WOODVILLE — Services for Thomas D. “Scotty” Scott, 52, of Woodville, who died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. today at Corinth Church of Christ in Woodville with the Rev. Bernard Waites officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville under the direction of Newman Funeral Home in Centreville.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Scott was born Jan. 19, 1962, the son of David Earl Scott and Ruth Yvonne Bean.

Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his father and his mother and stepfather, Marion Lee Bean.

Survivors include two sisters, Danny Hickman of Vidalia and Whitney Harrison and husband, Jerry, of Woodville; two special children, Kelsey and Bella Grace; four stepchildren, Shelly Roe, Shana Knight, Buck Morrow and Samara Moore, all of Oklahoma; four nieces, Tiffany Cain, Amy Mercer, Terri Cruse and Stephanie Woods; three nephews, Ricky Davenport, Drew Harrison and Trey Harrison; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Davenport, Clay Walker, David Martin, Jay Clayton, Trey Harrison and Jestin Harrison.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Savoy, Parrish Wright, Buddy Saxton and Chris Hickman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Natchez Children’s Home or Natchez Humane Society.
