NATCHEZ — Services for the Rev. Ciscero Quinn Jr., 82, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, at Glenburney Nursing Home, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at King Solomon Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Rev. Quinn was born Jan. 3, 1932, in Natchez, the son of Ciscero Quinn Sr. and Geneva Isaac Quinn.

Rev. Quinn was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, George Quinn, Joseph Quinn and Elijah Quinn; and one sister, Marguerite Williams.

Survivors include a loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Eliza McQuarters Quinn; one son, Ciscero Quinn III and wife, Darlene, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Alexine Jordan of Brookhaven, Alzina Duncan of Baton Rouge and Deloris Quinn Profice and husband, Alexander, of Natchez; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Jordan and wife, Kechla, of Brookhaven, Janelle Graham of Byram, Shaneka Smalls of Jacksonville, Fla., Tywanda Watts and husband, Mundrick, of Fort Worth, Texas, Kevin Profice of Norman, Okla., Dr. Alexine Wright and husband, Lorenzo, of Gulfport and Ciscero Quinn IV of Oklahoma City; three brothers, the Rev. John Quinn and wife, Clara, and Sampson Quinn, all of Natchez, and Henry Quinn and wife, Audrey, of Chicago; three sisters, Mary Fitzgerald, Alvin Louise Howard and husband, Leon, and Delia Quinn, all of Natchez; one brother-in-law, Charles McQuarters of New Orleans; four sisters-in-law, Margie Quinn, Claudia Quinn, Viola Bennett and Estelle Banford and husband, Wilson, all of Natchez; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
