Box-Merritt

Kristen Merritt of Germantown, Tenn., and Adam Box of Gulfport were married June 7, 2014, at Monmouth Plantation in Natchez with the Rev. Jeff Brewer officiating.
Parents of the couple are Blane and Laura Merritt of Hoschton, Ga., and Randy and Sherry Box of Gulfport. Grandparents of the couple are Herman and Shirley Merritt of Natchez, G.C. and Sandra Gibson of Ferriday, Charles and Teen Davidson of Natchez, Ralph and Margaret Caver of Booneville and Katherine Urinoski of Biloxi.
Music for the ceremony was provided by strings duo David Troutman and Larry Konecky, with soloist Leah Merritt, sister of the bride.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Blane Merritt.
She wore an elegant, vintage gown, previously worn by her mother, Laura Merritt, in 1985 and her grandmother, Sandra Gibson, in 1959.
Brittany Loan of Collierville, Tenn., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were, Lauren Bates of Germantown, Merilee Webb of Gulfport, Katie Binkley of Starkville, Kathryn Norris of Germantown, Julianne Frost of Birmingham, Ala., Bonnie Holloman of Meridian and Leah Merritt of Hoschton, Ga.
Austin Box of Gulfport was the best man. Groomsmen were Lance Barnard and Hal Sands IV, both of Biloxi, Greg Carney of Gulfport, Shane Sanford of Starkville, John Daniel Gillon of Grenada, Chris Barron of Ocean Springs and Parker Merritt of Germantown.
Following the ceremony, a reception was at Monmouth.
After a honeymoon in Turks and Caicos, the couple will live in Gulfport.
