NATCHEZ — Services for Laura Retta Wilson-Swazy, 86, of Natchez, who died Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at Promise Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Stickland officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Ms. Swazy was born Jan. 14, 1928, in Adams County, the daughter of Saul and Tina Jackson-Wilson.

She was employed by Ramada Inn Natchez for 40 years. She was retired.

Ms. Swazy was a member of LF&C Society and St. Clare Lodge No. 23.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and four brothers.

Survivors include her husband, Fird Swazy; three children, Martina Thomas, Marlon Swazy and Marlene Swazy; 12 grandchildren, one she reared as her own, Tyraneisha Swazy; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beulah Irving and husband, Arthur Sr., and Gertrude Wilson; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
