Armstrong Library director Pamela Plummer talks before the start of the event Saturday. The event is the first of a series of seminars to be on the first Saturday of each month and will culminate in the Natchez Literary and Cinema Celebration in February. The talks are free and open to the public. Each seminar will focus on authors who are either natives of the Natchez area or whose works were heavily influenced by the city.
