Wednesday, Aug. 20:
John Lewis Martin pleaded guilty to sale of a schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), in an amount being more than two grams, but less than 10 grams without enhancement and as a non-habitual offender, in Judge Forrest “Al” Johnson’s court. Sentenced to 10 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. The defendant shall receive full credit for time served as allowed by law. Shall receive Intensive therapeutic drug and alcohol treatment with MDOC. Must pay all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee.
Derrick Deshun Mearday pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to 15 years in MDOC. The defendant shall receive full credit for time served as allowed by law. Must pay all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee.
Tre Cole pleaded guilty to armed robbery (Count I) in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to three years in MDOC. The defendant shall receive full credit for time served as allowed by law. Must pay restitution to the victims in the amounts of $218.75 and $22.50 as set out in the agreed to restitution form of plea and all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee.
William Christopher Bradley pleaded guilty to sale of a schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), in an amount being more than 30 grams (Count II) in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to 20 years in MDOC. The defendant shall receive full credit for time served as allowed by law. To run consecutive to any current sentenced as required by law. Must pay all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee. Count II, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, is dismissed.
Tuesday, Aug. 19:
Samuel Sullivan pleaded guilty to armed robbery (count I) in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to five years in MDOC. The defendant shall receive full credit for time served as allowed by law. Must pay restitution to the victims in the amounts of $218.75 and $22.50 as set out in the agreed to restitution form for plea and all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee.
Travion Williams pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling in Judge Johnson’s court. Sentenced to six years in MDOC, with the court retaining jurisdiction for one year for placement of the defendant into the R.I.D. program with MDOC. Must pay all court costs and fees as well as a $200 prosecution fee.

Johnnell Harris, 20, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
Ricky Miley, 55, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
Sharhonda Amos, 26, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.
Kameron Bateaste pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $673.

Beth A. Davis, 25, pleaded guilty to using vile and profane language in public. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.
Thomas Wayne Thompson, 21, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.
Desmond K. McGuire, 22, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.
Wednesday, Aug. 20:
James Lee Johnson, 41, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for two days served. No contact order is lifted at request of victim and mother. Fine set at $698.
Casey Lanice Harveston, 34, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Satisfied by time served — 23 days. Fine set at $573.
Hollie A. Bergquist, 36, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — second offense. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $673.
