Educational reality avoided again

Why do some think teachers have no freedom to write a simple letter to the editor that smears no one?

Parents have their children 16 hours a day plus all summer, not educators.

Teachers do not promote single parent high risk “families.”

Teachers do not promote a lack of shame or respect in children.

Teachers do not demand passing students who obviously have not earned the grades.

Ask yourself why private schools and home schooling are booming all over the country.

Why are so few college students majoring in education?

This has everything to do with the sorry state of parenting.

I taught Mississippi high school graduates as community college freshmen for 27 years as they decayed in both attitude and quality.

Denial, distraction and threats will not change reality.
