VIDALIA — Memorial services for Joyce Ann Frederick, 70, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidalia under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Frederick was born April 14, 1944, in Monroe, the daughter of Jesse Robert Haddick and Leigh Haddick McManus. She was a resident of Vidalia, a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where she was very active in the church activities. She was a member of the Altar Society and the Birthday Club, and loved decorating the church for special events. Joyce loved cooking for family and friends, making flower arrangements and wreaths and loved arts and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Warren “Pap” Frederick Jr.; one son, Warren Frederick III and wife, Catherine, of Converse, Texas; one daughter, Stacy Bucley of Vidlaia; one brother, John R. Haddick and wife, Rita ,of Brighton, Colo; two sisters, Linda Murphy and husband, Eddie Mac, of Hamburg, Ark., and Leigh Ann Sumrall and husband, James, of Vicksburg; three grandsons, Matthew Buckley, Ryan Buckley and Rayce Frederick; three granddaughters, Shelby Frederick-Tipton, Macayla Frederick and Regan Frederick.
