NATCHEZ — A ceiling tile was damaged in a brief electrical fire at the Natchez-Adams County Airport Saturday morning.

Natchez Fire Department and Foster Mound Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at the airport  approximately 8:30 a.m.

An airport employee was able to extinguish the small fire before Natchez firefighters arrived.

The fire was contained to a ventilation fan in a bathroom in the newly-renovated terminal building.
