Teens arrested for break-in at police department

BAY ST. LOUIS (AP) — Authorities say two teenagers in were arrested when the broke into an impounded truck to take marijuana Tuesday.
Bay St. Louis Police Chief Mike DeNardo said Kyle Blaine Corr and Jeffery Chase Phillips were arrested Tuesday by officers who saw them breaking into a garage at the department.
DeNardo said the men took marijuana that was hidden in Corr’s pickup, which had been impounded a day earlier when Corr was arrested for burglary of a dwelling.
Now he’s charged with burglary, tampering with evidence and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
Phillips is charged with burglary and could face additional charges.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the men had attorneys.
