NATCHEZ — Services for Kiana Singleton, 33, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at noon Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Maurice Irving officiating.
Burial will follow in Greater St. Mark Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Friday with a “Celebration of Life” wake service from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, both at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Ms. Singleton was born June 4, 1981, in Natchez, the daughter of Percy King Jr. and Rita Renee Singleton Strickland.
She was educated in Natchez public schools and furthered her education at Alcorn State University, where she completed a bachelor of science degree.
She was a member of Greater St. Mark Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her children and all sports activities.
Ms. Singleton was preceded in death by one son, Hollis Ray Caston IV; maternal grandmother, Ruby Singleton Higdon; and paternal grandparents, Percy King Sr., Mary White, and Phillip Williams.
Survivors include her devoted and loving parents; four sons, Kevontaye Caston, JaKarrius Caston, Jordan Caston and Chavaris Martin Jr.; two daughters, K’nya White and Cali White; two brothers, Carell Singleton and wife, Debbie, and Jovan Singleton; one sister, Apolonia Scott and fiancé, Gary White; and a number of other relatives and friends.
