GLOSTER — Services for Mary Juanita Metcalfe Perry, 95, of Crosby, who died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at her residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Beaty officiating.

Burial will follow in Enlow Cemetery in Crosby under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Perry was born June 5, 1919, the daughter of George and Mattie Anders Metcalfe.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her garden and flower beds. She was a member of Macedonia Church.

Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her husband, Major Jones Perry Sr.; her parents; one son, Major Jones Perry Jr.; one daughter, Mary George; one grandson, John Nettles Jr.; and six brothers.

Survivors include one daughter, Irene Toney and husband, Quinn, of Liberty; 11 grandchildren, Bonnie Price and husband, Clayton, of Summit, Connie Durham of McComb, B.J. Nettles Jr., Ralph Nettles, James Nettles, Vickie Longmire, Rebecca Day and husband, Robert, all of Crosby, Donna Gunther and husband, Joey, of McComb, Cynthia Day and husband, Jimmy Day, of Jackson, La., Major Perry III and Lisa Perry, both of Vicksburg; and a number of great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be B. J. Nettles Jr., Brandon Nettles, Ralph Nettles, James Nettles, Jacob Nettles, Jason Exelby, Thomas Durham, Christopher Durham, Greg Byrd and Toby Byrd.
