NATCHEZ — T.M. Jennings 11- and 12-year-old coach Will Wesley is hoping Saturday’s 16-1 loss to Hattiesburg will serve as a wakeup call for his young team today.

With a team comprised of only one player that played on last year’s 11- and 12-year-old squad, Wesley feared the stage might get the best of his club.

“We just created too many opportunities for them,” Wesley said. “We committed a lot of errors.”

T.M. Jennings will play again this at 10 a.m. in an elimination contest.
