NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Johnny Michael Leachman, 66, of Utica, who died Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at his residence, will be at noon today at the Natchez National Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Boykin officiating.

Burial will follow in the cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Leachman was born Oct. 22, 1947, in Ruston, the son of Jim Cole Leachman Sr. and Clarice White Leachman.

He was a 1967 graduate of Natchez High and a member of the high school choir.

He was also a member of the famous Schmille Fraternity.

Mr. Leachman was preceded in death by is parents; and his sister, Sharon K. Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Nora Leachman; two daughters, Lisa Townsend, and Amber Kelly, both of Vicksburg; two brothers, Edward L. Leachman of Natchez, and Jim C. Leachman Jr. of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be H.F. Leachman, Prentiss Jarrod Leachman, Kevin D. Leachman, Jake Jones, Kevin Dale Smith Sr. and Kevin Dale Smith Jr.
