NATCHEZ — Nook Logan’s first baseball clinic, “Catch, Throw, Hit and Run” will make its debut in Natchez this Saturday.
The former Washington Nationals and Detroit Tigers centerfielder and 1998 Natchez High School standout said slots are still open for his clinic, which begins Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon for ages 12 and under at Duncan Park and concludes from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Adams County Christian School.
Logan’s clinic will extend through July 16, where he will teach the local youth the fundamentals of baseball.
“I’m excited to host this camp in my hometown where I played ball,” Logan said.
Helping Logan will be Brett Hinson, Hunter Ogden and Matthew Freeman.
Those still wanting to participate in the camp may register at Sports Center in Natchez or Hometown Sports in Vidalia for a fee of $200.
Before kicking off his clinic, Logan will be at Sports Center Thursday from noon until 6 p.m. signing autographs.
