In the Top of the Morning  June 16, it was suggested that Democrats support a Republican for the U.S. Senate in the June 24 runoff.

The Democratic Executive Committee of Adams County does not agree.

We do not suggest Democrats vote in the Republican primary.

We suggest that Democrats vote in the Democratic runoff on June 24.

It was suggested that if you voted in the June 3 primary, you are not eligible to vote in the June 24 runoff elections.

In the Third Congressional District (Adams County), there is a runoff for the Democratic U.S. Representative. The candidates are Doug Magee and Dennis Quinn. As a Democrat, let us support them.

We have already chosen Democrat Travis Childers in the primary. Now let us do our best to elect him in November.
